Sydney's a big place, so it's no wonder it harbours a vibrant and expansive music community - it's the perfect breeding ground for creativity, and from the congregation comes Waits. They're pretty fresh on the scene, but fuck are we glad they're around. Their debut single 'A Brother', released shortly after their formation, is the perfect introduction into the way they do business - gritty punk rock with a twist of grunge. Alongside the new year comes a new single, 'Arcade', which serves to solidify the band's sound. This is a band you'll no doubt hear more of as they develop. Keep an ear to the ground as they've got an exciting future – and it's one not to miss.
