Fortress are a fresh hardcore outfit from the festival state. The band surfaced after the demise of well respected heavy hitters Harlow and Valley Of Bones – and from the remaining comrades, Fortress was formed. Earlier this year, the band released their debut extended – it's raw, loud and it'll hit you harder than your mother's home-made curry. Unlike more traditional hardcore, Fortress have incorporated elements of rock and roll into their sound, resulting in a 6-track record that's filled with big guitar lines and compelling structure. The band hold an exciting future in their hands, keep an eye on Fortress!
